Hand Tools Advice
You should always buy good quality hand tools, you may think your getting a better deal buying cheaper tools but a good quality tool can last a life time, if looked after properly. Always use the right tools for the job because it will make it easier, quicker and safer. Keep all your tools in a good quality tool box's also keep them dry so that they do not rust, and any hand tools you are going to use check that it is not cracked or damaged e.g. if it is a hammer check the shaft for cracks also check if the head is not loose, if so you have to replace them instead of using them. Panel Saw Are used in most house construction. It is used for cutting large structural Timbers. |

Universal Saw Is good for ripping solid plank lengthways and crosscutting. The saw has hardened teeth. |

Tenon Saw Is good for cutting wall studs, floorboard and panelling joints. The metal stiffening along the top of the blade keeps it ridged. |

Pad Saw Also called a keyhole saw this small saw has a narrow tapered blade for cutting holes in timber. |
